Analytics and reporting
Reporting that answers the questions your business asks
Tracking, dashboards and monthly reports that connect website traffic, campaigns and enquiries to the numbers leadership actually uses.
For companies that have analytics installed but cannot say which channels, pages or campaigns produce customers.
- Tracking
- Conversions defined before they are measured
- Dashboards
- Built around decisions, not data volume
- Reporting
- Monthly, with what changed and why
- Organic search 38%
- Paid search 27%
- Direct 18%
- Referral 11%
- Social 6%
Defined
Conversions agreed before tracking.
Verified
Every event tested after setup.
Explained
Reports say what changed and why.
The business problem
Most companies have data. Few have answers.
Analytics was installed at launch and left alone. Nobody defined what counts as a conversion, campaigns report their own success in their own tools, and the monthly meeting starts with a debate about whose numbers are right.
- No agreed definition of a lead, an enquiry or a sale
- Advertising platforms and analytics report different numbers
- Dashboards show traffic but not which traffic becomes customers
- Forms, calls and chats are not tracked as conversions
- The migration to GA4 lost historical comparisons
- Reports are exported to spreadsheets and rebuilt by hand every month
Outcomes
What good reporting should change.
- 01
One set of numbers
Shared definitions for traffic, leads and conversions across every channel.
- 02
Spend tied to results
Campaigns, pages and channels compared by the enquiries they produce.
- 03
Faster decisions
Dashboards that answer recurring questions without a new export.
- 04
Changes explained
Monthly reports that say what moved, why, and what to do next.

Fit
Who this service is for.
A good fit when
- The website and campaigns are important sources of enquiries.
- Marketing spend needs to be justified with evidence.
- Several tools report conflicting numbers.
- Leadership wants a monthly view without learning analytics tools.
Probably not yet when
- The website receives too little traffic for trends to be meaningful.
- The need is financial or operational reporting from internal systems. That is custom software.
- Nobody will review the reports or act on them.
Process
How reporting is set up.
Measurement starts with the questions the business needs answered.
- 01
Questions
Which decisions the data must support, and what counts as a conversion.
- 02
Audit
Review of current tracking, tools, gaps and data quality.
- 03
Implementation
Tracking, integrations and dashboards configured and tested.
- 04
Reporting
Monthly reports and a quarterly review of goals and definitions.
Monthly report
A report written to be read.
Each monthly report opens with a short summary in plain language: what changed, the likely reason and the recommended next action. Charts support the summary rather than replace it.
Summary first
The first page can be read in two minutes by someone who does not use analytics tools.
Definitions stay stable
Changes to how a metric is calculated are documented, so trends remain comparable.
- Enquiries
- Tracked monthly
- Cost per enquiry
- By channel
- Top pages
- By conversion
- Next actions
- Prioritized

How the work is contracted.

FAQ
Questions about analytics and reporting.
Answers are written for this service. Where a figure depends on your situation, we say so instead of publishing an average.
What does the service cost?
Cost depends on the number of sites and channels, how much tracking must be rebuilt, the integrations required and the reporting frequency. A written proposal follows a short review of your current setup.
Do you work with GA4?
Yes. GA4 is the default, configured with Google Tag Manager, conversion events and Search Console. Other tools are used where you already rely on them.
Why do our ad platforms and analytics disagree?
Each tool counts differently: attribution windows, consent, ad blockers and duplicate conversions all affect the totals. The setup documents which source is used for which decision.
Can you track phone calls and chats?
Yes, where the call or chat system supports it. Options are confirmed during the audit.
How do you handle cookie consent?
Tracking is configured to respect the consent choices on your site, and the effect on reported numbers is explained in the reports.
Who owns the analytics accounts?
Your organization. Accounts are created or kept under your ownership, and ZitDevs is granted access.
Tell us which question your data cannot answer.
Describe your website, channels and current tools. ZitDevs will review the setup and propose what to measure and how to report it.
The form is preselected for analytics and reporting.
